What other options of spark plugs are out there for the classic mini, apart from NGK, Champion and denso.

Cheers Kevin

All manufacturers will have an equivalent plug. Just look on an interchange list. My question is why bother? the three manufacturers you mention make a good proven product.

Very curious to know why you would want a make other than one of these three?

From memory, Euro Car Parts stock Bosch plugs and at least one other budget brand whose name escapes me, but I've not used either.

I'm having issues with my plugs fouling up when on idle on warm up. The engine was fully set up on the dyno, so the carb/fueling is fine. I was running bp8es and they where fouling up, so I fitted some hotter plugs bp7es. But I'm still having issues when it's cold, they foul up. Once up to temp I don't get issues. It's I have some events coming up a sprint and hill climb which wil mean a lot of waiting in a cue until my run, and I'm worried about getting to the start line and it's going to running rough. So I'm looking for other plugs or will a different plug gap help. Please what are your thoughts?

Thanks

Kevin

I was getting fouling with 7's when cold and not driven flat out, fitted 6's as recommended on here and its fine.. (stg 4 1380)

A set of NGK's is less than £10 posted on ebay, so why get anything else?

If you haven't had it set up on a rolling road I'd go for the resister option. BPR6ES

Because there are gains to be made over ngk.

They stock bosch and beru which is the same plug. I'm running bosch in one of mine and they're fine.
