Hey all, i sprayed primer onto my motor about 45mins ago and it says it takes a whole day to set!.
Anyway no ive finsihed the primer stages i want to spray the patch back to blue but i cant because of this wait i have to do!
Ive felt the paint and its TOTALLY DRY , do u reakon its ok to spray over with now?

Leave it a few hours... Dunno if it really needs a whole day, but give it a good few hours definitely since the top may have dried but the bottom layer not completely, and as you paint over, you effectively seal the primer underneath. When it dries up releasing gases, they have no way to escape so may result in a bubbling/flaking or simply a bad seal between paint and primer!
After a few hours if you can really push it and its REALLY dry, it's probably safe to paint!

Cheers mate.
This is the first time ive sprayed a car before lol.
Still not convinced that its not going to be noticable once its all done! Is it true you leave the paint for a few days then polish or Tcut it so it blends in better?
