There's to much torque in this post  :proud:

It's all Torque,,,,,,

Torquing of talk wenches I have four of them - this should amuse you Moke Spider, my favourite one is an ancient Warren & Brown deflecting torque wrench.

I tend to use my Draper 1/2" most but have a smaller (and cheap 3/8" Toolstation one ... I know!)

I've still got a old beam one that I used in the 70s when I couldn't afford good tools and needed one in a hurry .. worked OK as it tightened down my A-series cylinder head and that was fine after a head gasket change. Also did other nuts/bolts including hub nuts, etc on a series of cars. Handle has broken off now so it's more for my private "tool museum" ..

I've also got one of those protractor types you fit onto sockets to tighten by angles but can't really get that to work .. my old Alfa needed 20Nm, then 40Nm then 90 degrees, 90 degrees and a final 90 degrees on head bolts. Just about managed that but most was by eye!

Mine are a Teng tools torque screwdriver 1/4,
And a pair of SP torque wrenches small one in 3/8 drive and a bigger one in 1/2 drive.
As I mainly use 3/8 sockets you know which gets used most.

Good Aussie Torque there :D

All mine are W&B, the big one being a deflecting beam type.

My Dad still has his 1/2" drive W&B deflecting beam wrench that he bought back in the 1950's. I recently had mine tested for calibration and had his done too. It still is within 1 ft/lb of it's scale over the range that it covers.

I bought the New Halfords advanced Torque driver a couple of weeks ago and think its a great bit of kit especially the reverse function for left hand threads.
