hullo sorry to pick ur brains....bin told by my mate that my drivers front wheel bearings need changing again........only renewed in jan, what could be causing this.................?have looked about and found kit for £15 in mini sport shop (any 1 found any cheaper?)

dogmatix - where bouts dya get the timiken kit from at such a good price, will need to move quick as mot is looming - that rocks dya mind sharing this info buddy?

Mine tends to eat them fairly regularly. I normally get them at a reasonable price from various mini-suppliers. Got them from Rover once, i can't remember how much it was, well harsh though. £50 or something.

When you say bearing housing - do you mean the outer race or the part of the hub where the race is located?
I shall be doing both of mine V soon so I'm kinda interestred.

I'll look out for that then. I guess it depends on how long you leave the bearing before replacing?
