maniflow exhaust manifold fitting problem

ive got the maniflow exhaust manifold (http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=37259) and i am having a problem fitting it, i tried it from the top but things get in the way and it wont go down far enough, anyone know wha tthe trick is??

It should fit through from the top mate.

I think you need to feed the outlet down the gap near the offside driveshaft.

You may find it goes if you remove the rocker cover if it's getting wedged on there.

How about unbolting the torque arm off the head and then use a jack under the Diff to rotate the top of the motor forward?
Should give more room then.

And by torque arm I believe he means the side engine steady that bolts to the block above the clutch and flywheel. Tis a good idea. You'll also have to unbolt an ultimate engine steady if you have one.

got it, just unbolted the steady and pulled engine forwards. thanks
