My mini has been parked up oitside for a several of months.
I've now noticed there is a fuel leak under the rear left of the car.
I can siphon the tank off, but I won't have time to look at it properly for a couple of weeks.
So, in preparation for fixing it, what are the most common places for leaks? I assume most likely is a corroded fuel line or perished hose?
And how much of a PITA is the worst case scenario to fix?

Hopefully its not the tank itself, is there fuel in the lower part of the boot floor where the spare wheel is or around the passenger seat cushion? More than likely like you suggest the rubber fuel hose between the tank outlet and steel pipe. Do you have anything in between that like a fuel filter or perhaps electric fuel pump? Obviously check these for leaks, and leaks at the connecting bits.
