Wheels looks brilliant mate, will really set this off a treat


Thanks Matt..Thats the general goal just making a few unique parts along the way will make it a touch different to the norm..How is yours coming on ?

Endaf delivered mine back this morning, been at Owens for 2 months. Good progress I need to update thread...

Body work is still moving on..all the underneath is finished paint wise ...i popped over yesterday and looks great..the next few weeks should see the main body prepped so getting closer to seeing it in paint..looking at yours thats not far away !..


If mine didn’t run arches these were my wheels of choice

Filthy behaviour...!..On the subject of car filth ocupuying my garage at the moment is this..it belongs to the owner of the chevy truck and has been keep at mine out of the way while all of the dirty work/welding has been done on the mini and chevy..

Its a common question as it doesn't really give an obvious clue..Its based on a Model T styling wise..80% is all home made using various donor parts or custom made..the engine is Big Block all aluminium chevy 8.3 ltr 800+ bhp ..home made chassis /custom suspension/brakes etc scary fast !

not a car you'd want to drive in the wet then (..apart from the lack of a roof)

 

it's certainly lovely looking - looks like a touch of the Panther DeVille in there too.  

 

whoever put that together has done a cracking job.  the chevy truck will be pretty special if that's anything to go by

The Rod was built 30 years ago by steve the truck owner..it still regularly wins prizes and goes to show if built properly will go on for many years as this has done.

Groundhog day...same shoot but slightly different..slow progress but still progress..word is next couple of weeks going to push on at the bodyshop...starting to really need it back now as I'm all ready to get fitting back up !..

...it's like a spot the difference contest; there's some extension leads and a drill on the floor and the leads on the welder have moved

 

have i missed anything ?  :shy:
