i think the original wheels suit it better; maybe it's because it's such an original car
those CFR's i think would be the business on a more 'street race' build - i bet they'd look pretty good on a GTS

You could look for some ATS wheels maybe with a different ET value, that might work out.
That being said it does look great on the proper steelies.

Love the car.
You're going to keep it RHD, but are you going to replace that 1980's steering column with a more correct 1970's version?

I'd love to buy those CFR's off you, but I guess I'd have the same problem at the front with cooper s type discs (and no arches).

I do have the origional column and wheel. It are in rough shape. Maybe swap out one day for an older more period column.
Yes you probably will have the same issue up front. Unless you go with an arch, they have just a little too much poke. Needs less back spacing.
I don’t think I’d sell these anyways... going to keep for my next one, love them too much plus with the money I have in them, I’d be asking a lot for them. ;)

I think that's a wise move - I wouldn't be letting go of them either!
Do you mind me asking about the paint colour you went for on the wheels?

It’s a prismatic powder coat called grey day. Was a long process to find it but i think it’s the perfect color combo.

Another beautiful Mini. I really like that dash. Very cool you have all the documents on it too.
