Being a simple git I am not a fan of the magic stop / start either even though I have it on my Xtrail

I can't understand why it doesn't switch off more often, it clearly can't assess what the engine and battery state is...after a 10 minute

run surely the battery is charged from the previous start, and the thing should cut..?  So if it doesn't I switch it off anyway

Another one is in slow moving traffic...engine switches off...not an issue but if you roll forward when off the brake it cracks up again....great as a one off but seriously annoying in a long queue

******* annoying like the electric handbrake which is connected to the electric tail gate, the self sensing head lights with a reaction time of 2 days, even on the fast setting, bloody dangerous they dip at house lights too. Won't be having another.

Like most electric gizzmo's ten out of ten for novelty value. Self driving cars my arse, they can't even make wipers that work 100%

I find most of the auto stuff works pretty well. But even Mercedes don’t seem be able to crack auto wipers haha

If they work as intended that's great but when I can react at 5 times the speed whats the point, its a dangerous backward step

Its all uneeded electro crap and will no doubt cause all sorts of issues as it degrades

How many thousand vehicles are scrapped these days with ecu and electrical type failures...??
