The head is a 202 with enlarged valves and had a bit of chamber work.

Max bhp was achieved at 4250rpm and cam is a AEA630.

It does say above on my 2nd post.

Thanks Minigman, I missed that post.

If the rockers are standard this could be where you can pick up additional power at higher rpm. You could try 1.3 or even possibly 1.4 ratio rockers, this is a much easier install than a cam swap.

Regardless of where the power and torque is made the Main thing is that the carb is very well setup and serviced and gives the correct fueling everywhere because good peak numbers is Worth nothing if the carb cant hold a Tune or if IT runs badly at part throttle. My tuned 998 did 20k miles between being setup and me checking IT again and i found it had gone way off and become too rich. Finding that Guy that can make a needle that is right every where is hard (in Denmark anyway)

It’s a refurbished carb. Set up on the rolling road at Slarks. The AEA630 two ring cam makes peak BHP at 5250 on a std 1098. Not sure why mine is at 4250 other than the exhaust is a tiny bore.

get a proper exhaust on it and you will see greater torque and BHP (and inlet).
