It all depends on how long it takes for the engine to fire.  An instant start and it won't warm;  half a minute and it will feel hot.

 

Many people, Some very experienced, have tried to remove their mini engine with the earth strap still tying the engine to the body.

 

It seems that someone may have misunderstood one of my modification tips. which is to run the clutch pipe through the terminals of earth strap, so that when removing the clutch slave cylinder, the earth strap is also removed.
