brasso is moree abrasive and so it continues the whole 'start rough and get finer with grades' process.

Got any pics of this?for twenty squid i think...machine mart do a polishing kit...consists of 2 mops which attatch to your drill and a polishing compound...got my manky rocker cover nice and shiny...also useful for heavy duty polishing...have used it on both alloy and steel wheels to great effect

Yeh i was looking for pics of the final result not the product.... >Oh my god... i just found a site called google where you can type in anyword and it gives results really quick!
I typed machine mart polishing kit in and bingo!

Scotch brite (Get all the C**p off), 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 then Autosol for hours.

i shot blast it first, then some rough emery to get all the marks and dints out then finer emery to shine it up abit, i havent reached the fins yet which im dreading but may use a dremel or something similar. i tryed using a buffing wheel on a pedastal grinder and it bought it up realy well on a small patch, havent tried the autosoll yet but im sure it'll bring it up like a mirror. bling bling
