There seem to be several different wheel spacers available:

What's the concensus on them? Do they offer any benefit except cosmetic, or are they more for preventing tyre rubbing. Or is there a handling benefit due to a wider track. Any negatives about them?

Would be running 12" x 5" with 165/50 R12 tyres on a Clubman GT.

I do run 1" spacers on my Discovery and never had any issues, but then again it does have 33" mud tyres on it, so its rather a different beast and the spacers are on there for different reasons.

Also does anyone know if Mini wheels are hubcentric or not?

Thanks. :proud:

Spacing out your wheels will apply a slightly larger load to your wheels bearings and wear them quicker. Though saying this I have 1" spacers and have had no troubles over the last 3 years.
