I tracked down uneven idle to a leak around butterfly shaft.

I do vaguely remember I had some problems removing the shaft and / or fixing the leak some time in the past.

Please can the collective wisdom of the forum pinpoint to best spare parts kit I need (is there some better seals these days to fight ethanol infested fuels?), and to good online manual how to dismantle and fix this?

Thank you

Burlen Fuel Systems make the parts for the SU Carbs. They took over from Skinners Union in Birmingham

Sounds like you need some bushes or seals. Throttle spindle bushes are AUD 3080  The throttle seals have various numbers

They can be contacted on 01722 412500. You will need the tag number on your carb, this helps identify the parts easier for them
