Hi,
There should be 3 of those flat plates with the lump on them.
They hold the light into the metal frame.
MPIs don't use the spring.
Where's the leveling motor?

Steve 220/rich 959... you're wrong i have bought the correct mpi bowl that house the motor the motor is located in the picture at the bottom by the floor.

the bowl you have suggest is the very bowl i bought haha from minispares i was adviced with the kits that has the spring, i am aware the spring isnt needed for the MPI however the 3 little plates ive got, i have two left. shall i have two left? or not

Apologies, couldn't see it in the pic! Can't help with assembly I'm afraid - mine are still in the bags, a long way from assembly!
Above, Bat says you should use three of those plates per light - so if you have only used one and have two left, it seems that could be your issue.

My duff one buzzes, I haven't yet tried swapping it with the one that works to make sure nothing is untoward and see how these work prior to being plumbed in, new ones are not the cheapest of parts.
