Hello learned ones!

I feel like I’m doing something wrong.
The lever on the side of the seats is not tilting the backrest forward.
It lifts the catch from the bottom rod (blue circled) and allows the whole seat to tilt forward but according to the manual that lever should tilt the backrest on its own.

It basically has the same operation as the small pull rod on the base of the seat.

Any thoughts!?

They look like SPI seats to me which as you say operates the whole seat to be lifted. The MPI seats had the same leaver on the side of the seat but allowed the back rest to tilt forward.

Bummer. But at least I know I’m not duffing something simple up!
