I miss the days off half dismantled cars in front gardens.  You could tell a lot about people just from the type of cars, the state of repair of them and how long they'd been there.

Looking at the mini with the scaffolding frame reminded me of when I used to remove my engine by lifting the car off the front subframe this was done with the help of a couple of friends and before i had a driveway so was done on the road at the kerbside never had a complaint, that was in the days when all the neighbours actually talked to each other ,Love the photos that you post, thank you for taking the time and trouble to do so, makes my day !
