So,

after some years with "minis should have mini engines" attitude, ive come to join the darkside. I hate to admit it, but if i want to keep on top of these chavs i better had knock dilly up a notch.

The engine standard, isnt an improvement over when i already had in there, but its only the start of things to come (Mainly forced induction)

I intent to be running a set of Throttle Bodies off a GSX600R.. these have been successful on a 1600xsi with MAP sensor, piper cams & pullys, stainless manifold and maybe a quick skin of the head :-

1589cc / 16v MPi / 109Ps @ 6000rpm / 138Nm @ 4500rpm not a bad starting point i suppose :w00t:

personally id keep the rover managment, get a vvc plenum and spend your money on a vvc head and piper cam conversion to solid cams!! shud take you to nearer to 150bhp

the rover mems system isnt as drab as people make out its inteligent!! just takes time to learn its new paramaters!!

I havnt decided on a fuel pump combo yet. As ive ran a turbo i already have a pump from a jag, fuel feed and return.

Im sure if you ran an out of tank pump and brazed the standard one up it would be fine. or is that not what you want to do?

Im really hoping to have it for nurburgring, and i dont see why not. Ive finally got a workshop now so i dont see why i cant.

Roll on september!
