Has anyone needed to fit a servo with the wildwood brake setup? Curious cause mine are still rubbish..

all a servo does is reduce the foot pressure needed to apply force to the pads. you say rubbish what do you mean? you have been out and bedded them in? and what pad compound have you got?

Yeah I thought that but I'm a bit lost with it. I'm running the same setup as a lot of the others on here. Wildwood calipers, pedal box, same pads and braided lines. The brakes don't seem as positive as they should. I've adjusted the bias more to the front because the rears were certainly stronger but it still doesn't seem to have made much difference. It failed it's MOT miserably on breaking power. The tester said they should be good and didn't have anything to do with bedding in.. I though otherwise and am still thinking so.. do you know what the bedding in procedure is with these brakes/ pads? I wonder if I got it to a track and tootled around a bit getting the brakes up to temp and using them consistently would that fix my issue?

Hello, the Wildwood brake set up performs very well on Zcars Minis. What master cylinder are you running?

Yer, something odd.. I am running the same as you in MC size and same pedal box, I know my pedal effort is a hell of a lot greater than in a regular servo'd car but I wouldnt have said it was MOT fail bad - I can get them to lock up if I really push it. My pads are defo better with heat in them, I am running the polymatrix A pads, biggest problem with them is the amount of crap they kick out and it sticks like sh!7 to your nice shiny alloys....

Andy, is there any chance you could post a link to somewhere I can get exactly the same pads as you? I'm thinking it might help. It would at least eliminate that side of things. Cheers, John
