This is why as and when funds allow I will be going Haltech.
I will go with the original supplied ECU to start with, and then once the engine is in the car and finances are in a better place going Haltech.
It’s bizarre considering how much money we have spent with SC that they cannot supply uswith a more user friendly ecu??

They sell an optional Bosch wide band lambda and wiring harness to plug directly in to the main ECU harness. You can set the software to learn from it, so yes, it can be set to closed loop.Does the SC ecu do closed loop fuelling?

By pure blind luck I have stumbled across a Delta ECU expert. He’s tuned classic lotus in a race series (I’ve forgotten the name of) which they all had to run the same Delta ECU. He has given me the exact same rhetoric.
That the ECU is a little past it’s best and not all that intuitive.
But in the right hands a good tune is more than possible.
I’ve been driving now for the last 8 months (on and off obviously) with a fairly conservative tune. And it’s been fantastic!
I’m due to be back on the rollers in a couple of months for the final tune.
If anyone is interested on getting his details let me know. He’s based in Bedford. And we use a rolling road in Sandy off the A1

Ping me his details please, might as well get a data base of tuners who can work this particular ecu.
