Hi there peeps!

I'm 17 and currently learning to drive

I currently own a 1991 mini checkmate which i have big plans for but all in good time (gotta past test first :ermm: ) but in the mean time i'm currently eradicating the rust, all of the usual suspects Scuttle panel, A panels etc. Here is a piccy of it so far

Sweet, keep those bullet mirrors and add some sportpack arches, that'll be a winner.

well i currently have a 1.3 maestro/montego cylinder head so thinking of getting a 1275 engine, instead of having the 998 engine out to have the block pocketed to use it. And then to take my time building the 1275 so cam, rockers and general maintenance so i can learn more about the engine and tune it to what i want. But this is quite a way down the line so i can A) build up enough money to do it including insurance and B ) so i can become more competent at driving

Besides the 998 is plenty good enough at the moment
