Afternoon All,

I have purchased a new Maniflow exhaust system for my 2000 Cooper Sport Mpi. A full manifold to rear box (decided to keep the cat, but may change this) and just wanted some advice.

Is there anything else I need to worry about while doing this job?

Have bought all new bolts and gaskets, do i need any sealant?

Is it tricky?

Will have the car up on a four post hoist to make it easier for me due to a dodgy back, but just wanted some forum advice!

Thanks in advance

Did the new exhaust come with new rubber hangers? Might be good to replace them while you are doing the job.

I have been running maniflow for years now. Love them BUT my only complaint is the flex section they use. My SPi came with a nice SS braided flex pipe that was right after the header. Maniflow uses a ball/cup design and maybe it’s ok for most but it did not work for me. Cause lots of rattling and eventually broke the lower mount that bolts to output shaft housing. I went with an RC40 flex unit that I like much better as it allows side to side AND forward and back movement.
