My Grandad did his Rover P6 using house carpet. Looked the dogs.... really deep like a rolls and the joins were invisible!

any one know of a good "standard looking" carpet set. what are the mini spares ones like ??? (think they cost around £30)

i'm trying to get the cooper as close to standard as possible so the deluxe carpet has gone.

i want as close to standard as i can without paying silly money. don't like the ones you see at shows with the coloured edges, these are a bit too basic.

the car is a 1991 cooper and the carpet needs to be black.

Hey, Check out somerford-mini.co.uk ....I have just bought a fantastic carpet from there @ £69. And they do loads of colours.

how are the budget ones?do they fit decently ie:not much showing metal, no holes to cut....because i don't need anything perfect.
