So the gearbox rebuild kit i bought from minispares came with a koyo idler gear bearing. Should i be concerned that this is a substandard bearing? Arent they supposed to be RHP?

too bad i already destroyed the existing bearing taking it out of the gearbox casing.

Search for the bearing topic. It lists what’s good or not.

I have used a few Koyo Bearings for other things (I've not seen them for these yet) and they are OK.

The ones that seem to be giving trouble are the KOR banded bearings.
