No spots or fogs, so that connector is redundant in our case.
We tried to bump it 3 or 4 times, down hill but we could have achieved more speed really.
Tested the power to the starter and I did get 12v, so presumably the starter has gone?

It certainly sounds like it.
I'd have a few more tries bump starting it before you buy a new starter though - it should start haha.
