Round nose conversion
1293 with omegas, full roller rockers, 12g940 11 stud conversion. Serious porting and valves, 45 dcoe
Straight cut drops, straight cut gear set, sailsbury lsd, hardy spicer shafts
Miglia bulkhead box, battery moved to front behind the custom alloy dash
6 point cage with door bars, dash bar
Very light and uncomfortable f/glass seats full 75mm harnesses
Sparco s/wheel
No rear seats or seat squab or rear bins
Plumbed in extinguisher and hand held in front of passenger feet
6x13 minilite style rims and A008 for road, wellers and slicks for race
Custom fabricated alloy rear beam frame, spax adj std pin coilovers on rear, adj spax on front std trumpets, donughts.
Lexan windows with hole vents, std screen
Cut out door frames and custom alloy skins
Alloy tank in boot, large turrets for spax, strut brace between turrets.
Stainless rc40 type exhaust.
No rear valence, bonnet is a skin only as is the boot.
Last time on the rollers it did 88 atw, after being stood unused for 5 yrs. did 200 miles then parked it up where its been sat for the last 6 yrs.
Not a spot of rust or rot anywhere. Battery is fubared, biva is apparently needed, so i have just recently sold it back to the previous owner.
The car was built and raced by Mike at MBE in Lincoln.
He lent the car to a fellow racer who won the Saftey Devices Tarmac championship in it. But not sure what year.
Regretting selling it already, but makes sense as if i replace it i can do so with something with 4 seats and better fuel consumption.
Before the car goes (few months yet) i will get some decent pics taken and do a thread to show all the things mike did when he built it.
