Used to be an egg and sawdust back in the day!

Eggs in the rad, sawdust in the gearbox or diff depending on what car you have. A pair of nylons have been known to be chucked into the mix, and also as an emergency fan belt believe it or not.

All I can add to this is my toilet cleaner as coolant flush...

For anyone interested I used

https://www.astonish...ilet-bowl-tabs/

It certainly did the trick for me but I 100% wouldn’t recommend you put anything not designed for an engine in your car unless like myself you was going for a do or die approach..

I think I could start a new thread on some of the bizarre bodge jobs the previous owner did on my mini... mostly his complete inability to torque anything up or completely strip anything he tried doing up..

Finger tight included!!
Ball joints!
Track rod ends
Rear hub nuts
Flywheel bolt!!
Engine mounts
Brake calliper

All of which had lock tabs bent over or split pins in so looked like they had been done up properly... but nope just finger tight..
