One quick question though I’m struggling with the thermostat housing it is leaking up one of the threads. I’ve tried the blue lock seal liquid stuff but I think it’s around the gasket area. Any ideas ? I’m using a good quality gasket and the thermostat area is all fully clean.

Do all the screws go in fully and have thread far enough up the shank as to not run out of turns without pressing the casting down?

I've found there's 'Soft Gaskets' and some that are Rock Hard. These hard ones, I've not had success with.

I also use an RTV Sealant on the Thermostat Gasket as well. You really don't want any coolant finding it's way in to the Bolts / Studs here.
