After a night of chatting with friends & mulling it over i've had to make the decision not to bid on an obscure Metro based Beige beastie i really, really, wanted.

Need to concentrate on getting my (non-Mk3 Cooper S style ) 98 MPI back on the road.

 

For the MK3 Cooper S look are you going to ditch the Sport Pack arches? (i could do with a spare set ).

 

One day i will set up an Imgur account, i think you would appreciate the switches for my 75. They're a hybrid using the more tactile Mk3 switches but have the Mk4 illuminated window (& plug into the later loom), not something i would recommend doing unless you like really fiddly work & have a LOT of spare time on your hands!

The Sportpack wheels and arches are long gone, but the arches weren't genuine anyway. Mine was a basic non-cooper MPI that had been sportpack-ified! You can see it in my footer link with the 10" wheels before it went off for bodywork.

 

The switches sound good! Fancy building another set?
