Ok guys, started to dig out some of the parts for the front subby, clean them up, and spray them.

Yesterday modded my KAD 4 pots to suit the 7.5" discs

So started on the driveshafts and components. Finished off the ball joints on the hub assembly's.

Was hoping to get more complete but had to take the thick driveshaft circlip of my old driveshafts, which was a right pain in the arse.

Well continued where I left of yesterday. Took the other circlip of my old driveshaft, with a lot of cursing and swearing, but got there in the end. So that's both hub and driveshaft assemblies finished of for the time been

.

The components for the front subby are now dry after a few coats of chassis black, so started to arrange everything in prep for assembling the subframe.

Uncovered the engine, just to remind myself what it looked like, as the poor thing has been sat under cover for the last year. Will fit the MED couplings tomorrow.

Cheers Paul.

Cheers Andy, should get a big chunk of the car done in the next few months.

So today I managed to get into the garage in the afternoon and complete one half of the front subframe, forgot how bloody tight it is to get the rubber spring and Hi-low adjustment kit in, but got there in the end.

My order arrived from Merlinmotorsport this morning, so got the Mocal thermostatic sandwich plate on, now waiting on the hose, and 8jic fittings.

Now that I have the oil cooler, going to make up some stainless steel brackets, and fit it on the top left of the grill.

Cheers Paul.

Hi guys, not done much today, been outside enjoying the weather, but did manage to get into the garage for a few hours to finish of the front subby.

Finally after a couple of years sat in the garage, I managed to get stuck in and complete the shell, it's not perfect but once it's cut back and polished, it should look ok.

A wee job done today, modded the centre binnacle to accept the twin clocks from the Equinox.

That is a pretty setup! Does it go in the centre of dash but uses the existing two clock setup? Really liking the way it looks!

Yes, it's been made to go in the centre of the dash. I had to make a box section (see photo of the engine bay above) so all the wiring from the SPI would fit in neatly.
