Hi all,
I'm finally back into Mini ownership after 16 years away. My previous 2 were a 1981 rust bucket and a 1985 Mayfair, would love to find out where that got to these days.
Last week I bought a 1999 MPi Cooper, my cousin bought this brand new and has been my dream car ever since.
With our first baby due in January it was a now or never purchase but so glad I got it.
Cant wait to attend a few shows etc next year.

Yes it did, it’s on retention now though, I have another private plate with real sentimental value so that’s going on the Mini.

I haven’t been to any Essex meets yet and I’m out of the country at the moment because of a family emergency but as soon as I am back in UK I plan to do as many as possible, I’m only up the road from you by the looks of it too in Chelmsford.

I'm not far from chelmsford at all. Also have a friend who has recently brought a mini too. Good to know local people with the same love and frustrations.

Hope everything is ok, maybe have to organise a pub meet when you're back/on the road.

Awesome. I have wanted one for a very long time and finally had the chance last summer. Its unfortunate that this weekend is perfect weather but cannot go out. I also need to change the fanbelt.
