I can't recommend ACF50 enough, best stuff I've used in 25 years. No new rust bubbles in 5 winters sat outside and used frequently. Roads not gritted too much round here though.

I just love this picture.

I hope the mini is safe from the b***ards who think they deserve it more than you!

No, up to now it’s been fine, fingers crossed! I have a Disclock and Cobra alarm on it so it wouldn’t be an easy steal. My neighbour had his Checkmate which hadn’t moved for about 3 years towed away though. Found stripped nearby.

The b*&£*rds did feel like they needed the front bumper off my BMW more than I did though!

Say hi to South Yorks for me, I’m from Barnsley

i use a small dehumidifier in mine, leave it in the car, swith it on once a month ish for 12 hours. helps to remove any moisture from carpets etc.

Do you have a wooden dash or leather? Or so, you'll ruin them with a dehumidifier. You need air flow in a garage.

Packed carefully in a straw filled box and placed in a dark hotpress.

Ideally the perfect winter storage would be in a Carcoon or air chamber with a dehumidifier, but the dehumidifier needs to something slightly better such as a Trotec with humidity control. I have a Trotec TTK65E in my workshop set to 65% humidity and it's not run all this week, this morning it's showing the humidity here to be 55%. They're still relatively inexpensive but can be left switched on and they run when they're needed.

As Steve refers to, a "basic" dehumidifier will dry out leather and wood more than would be desirable.

Stu.
