Third language. I found English was Most Swedes Second.
personally I would not fit that carb never liked the Delortos on a Mini.
but I would start with Vizzards 998 specs modified head semi race cam and extractor exhaust
choke 32, main 145, air corrector 200 ,pump jet 40, idle 55, Aux Venturi 4.5
as a starting point

I'm born Danish, so swedish is my second language?
Yes, I do have the inlet manifold.
I'm thinking the dellorto would be more reliable (easyer the deal with) than twin SU's?

The replybutton does not seem to be working.

Damn some people have all the luck. I have Danish family and lived in Sweden for 11 years.
It back to the question. Ok I would run the delorto instead of twins. But I would run an HIF in preference to either.
there often seems to be an idea that if it is standard it can’t be that good. Unfortunately on the Mini there are a few things that are actually very good. And the last HIF carbs is one of these. Which HIF depends on what power you expect to get. Going too big can reduce power through lower gas speed in the carb and inlet manifold and head ports.
It if you have the 40 use it it will work but I hope the manifold is suitable and you have modified the bulk head to allow suitable ram pipes and filter. If the inlet is short and you don’t have the room for ram pipes the don’t bother with it.

I used:
32 choke
155 main jet
180 air corrector
45 idle jet
7772.5 emulsion tube
I’d suggest getting an air fuel ratio gauge so you can make informed choices when tuning (or pay for a dyno session). There is a good book by Des Hammil on Dellorto and Weber tuning that’ll teach you how to tune them
