then run a new bit of hose from the heater tap round to the other end of the manifold!! seems a bit awkward! to make it look tidier you could possibly re-rout it with copper pipe bends or something similar!!
just doing it this way everything should come undone ok, minimal changes to the car and you only have to buy 1 length of pipe!

Its really not needed. I didn't have mine connected last year and it was fine. Its only really needed when the ambient temp drops below freezing regularly.
im just thinking as i live on the coast and the winters have been getting colder and colder, just as a precaution i would like to plumb it in.

then another length of pipe to the orignal heater tap from the passenger side of the manifold. used a p clip on the carb to hold the pipe in place.
its the easyest way and vitural no fluid loss.

But from looking at it there is another bracker coming off the head underneeth the original radiator brakcer then hoses coming off that bracker going the the inlet.
Hope i might be going over to thanet tomurow so if i do i could robs pop over to you abd show you. But thats no definate yet.
Edit: ok you cant acctually see it in the pic much at all but its raining now so ill try and get some better pics when the weather gets better.
