well i brought some speakers from halfords last week for kattypillas car (its hurt - matt sobs)
and i think hey were the 16cm alpine speakers... they sounded very very very clear compared to the rover standards. Much much louder but dont crackle when they get to top peaks... just get so loud it starts to hurt ur ears ;)

Even now, ive not come across a better sounding ICE setup that the one I had in my Old Purple mini.

Quite an imaginative setup though, Was going to upgrade to Components but then I got rid of the car.

It was...

///ALPINE IPOD Head unit
Kenwood 200watt Sub amp
JL Audio 900watt Amp
Pair of Pioneer 6" Coax in dashboard
Pair of 6x9 Kenwood SUBS in rear bench board
10" Pioneer Infinate Baffle Sub on Rear shelf.

Looked Good, Sounded better! ;)

if you mean old style metro then yes they do, you'll have to drill some holes to the door card to et them to stay.
