Re-bore = new pistons and rings. Go to the next size up, which is usually +20.
Crank grind = new bearings.

Replace oil pump, water pump and all gaskets/seals as a minimum. You'll have to pull the gearbox off so worth checking that over, primary gear wear etc

I wouldn't bother cleaning it up. Any engine builder worth their money will have to acid dip it anyway.

I always say go to the next size so you can maximise the life of the block.

In checking on Machine Shops, ask what type of machine they have for doing the Crank Grinds. If it's a Prince, run like hell.

These are a weird grinder that follows exactly the journal that's in the crank, only, it will make it round again. So, if there's any error in the journal's location, which 90% of the time there is, it will leave that error in the crank. These appear somewhat popular in the UK as they are a cheap machine, take up little floor space and are fast to set up.

Look for a shop that has an off-set type Crank Grinder.

You could try Bromsgrove Engine Services, short trip down the M5 from where you are.

And you will need to get them to check the bore first before you order anything. Maybe the block is already oversize and you need to go to +040 from stock, or possibly the block won't clean up at the next bore.

Same goes for the crank bearings/journals
