Im about to wire one into my car, i no i need to put the earth somewhere on the body and the postive on the fuse box but can someone please tell me which fuse to plug it into, i want it to come on when i turn the ignition on...

Fuse between 1&2 -- stoplights, reversing lights, indicator flasher unit, heated rear window. Only working when key switch is on position II.

Fuse between 3&4 -- horn, hazard indicators, and brake failure light. These work all the time.

Fuse between 5&6 -- heater/wipers - these work on position I or II

Fuse between 7&8 -- side and taillights work all the time.

So the one you want is no.2 with the green wire.

When I put one in I just poked them with an electrical testing screwdriver till it lit up with the key turned (Y)

My fusebox only has two fuses in it though.
