I’m repairing/reinstalling my entire wiring loom and have run into what I hope is the last gremlin.
Everything seems to work, I have started the car yet. The ignition warning light comes on as it should when I turn the key, but by turning the key it extinguished the oil pressure warning light (which is on with the ignition off) ? Can’t seem to figure it out. Car is a 63’ mk1 848 with floor start. Been converted to negative earth the old fashioned way

The oil light on my old Pick-up came off the same feed as the ignition.

Oil pressure light should have two connections: one to the pressure switch (Green/Yellow) and the other to the fused feed (Green) .. on most mini's with a central speedo this probably comes from the B side of the fuel gauge.
Ignition light is White, from ignition switch, and yellow from D post on regulator (if you still have a dynamo).

Yeah so I’ve chased the wires and I don’t have volts on the d post of the regulator ? Any ideas why, everything else is powered up and good
