Professor AI says they should plug into one another, but you'd have to crimp on new terminals, you can't just swap the plastic housings.

 

 

 

 

... yes the junior POWER version has retainer tabs top & bottom while yours just has one.

Just a quick update for those searching in future - the aforementioned new style of connectors DO fit perfectly, and are so, so much easier to remove than the old rover ones that you needed a pic to get off. 

 

Im going to change all mine on the spi for the new style (the TPS plug is a 3 pin by the way), the original ones are 30 years old now, and have had many heat cycles / moisture etc, so to futureproof myself they are all getting done.  Thanks chaps.

Buying them with pre-crimped tails is a good move. You'd need a proper crimp tool for them and you'd be chopping a bit off the harness which could add strain to wires that are likely some way through their stress cycle.
