finally sorted the position. it is as close to the valves as possible when being able to sense all cylinders.

after the remote housing rear bracket.

I may but the reason for it is German motorsport regs.

Where would you put it in the Y piece or in the center branch pipe?

Instructions for mine says to install 18" downstream from the collector (Y piece in our case with the LCB).

I’ve had the PLX wideband fitted for a couple of months. Very happy with it, and I can add more sensors to it if I need to.

ETA, Timmy850 has an Innovate afr fitted, there’s info about it in his build thread.

Hmm, strange edit function here. Why didn’t my original post show when I tried to edit?

Thx Pool and I hear it truly helps in extracting the last bit of power/torque from my engine. We have no rolling roads over where I am .

I’ve certainly found it interesting while playing with SU springs and damper oil.

I have an AEM 30-0300 and am happy with it. It has an analog output so I can log the data. It’s been both informative and fun monitoring the effect of tweaking the carb and also it protects me from tuning way too lean.

I have been relying heavily on my gunson and some say not good enough as all I want now is the last few BHP out of the engine. Car runs and drives great but as usual can be deceiving

Nick, I notice you seem to have fitted a Maniflow reverse cone system. Have you also fitted the newfangled LCB Stage 2 with larger centre pipe? If so, how did you get on with its routing past the remote housing and hardy spicers (assuming you have fitted all these)
