Just been to my local Halfords. You have to stand outside, tell them what you want and they go and fetch it, so no browsing then. If you want to see what's on offer check online.

Hi

A    +1 for the Halfords professional/advance sets.

I have had a big set for years,  ( the lifetime guarantee is a no quibble  which I have used on the smaller size  torx bits on occasion..... without any fuss from H Fords.

Its seen me through many a job and stood up to some "abuse" too

I know a few people  like to moan or deride Halfords..... I think they are very  good generally for the vast majority of motorists and customers   on price and availability ,  for what I use and need them for.

There is definitely a job and time for the higher priced top quality tools (which I have bought) and i use the mini specialists for parts..... obviously

..... but for 99.9 % of the time the trusty old halfords set serves me well.

Get a nice breaker bar from Machine Mart -  x2 Torque Wrenches - low range  poundage as well as higher values and you have pretty much all you need for most tasks
