All sorted and she lives again !!! The local garage diagnosed and fixed two faults on the wiring loom (one on ignition and the orther on lights)

will do - how do you get the instrument walnut facia off?
On my Sprite I could just get to them from the underside dash panel.
To remove your dashboard depends what is holding it on.

I changed the 3 relays under the bonnet plus all the fuses in the main fuse board and the in line fuses under the bulkhead - still the same. Wont start, no indicators or hazzards, lights dont flash etc.
