Nice wheel, is that a 1275 GT Challenge one?

Yes. GKN Silverstone. I have yet to make a decision on wheels.

Love your attention to detail, Oz. Hope to see this beauty beast at IMM.

What are you measuring with the dial indicator at the conrod bolts?

ARP recommend rod bolts are done up to a stretched length rather than torque.

Innocenti 120. Basically a 1275GT in an Italian suit.

Shame they never made these in the UK, if you've got a spare one of these i'm willing to take it off your hands.

Not sure why you put purple fishnets on the driveshafts -seems a bit kinky to me

It is to protect the paint on the shaft until engine is fitted then I will just cut them off.

Dellorto FZD 32.28s from Portugal, rebuild kits from Germany. Blasting, ultrasonic and zinc plating in Crawley.

Thanks to Graeme and Rex for the SU vacuum take-offs.

30.24s and 32.28s. Will try both on the car to see what size best suits the engine spec.

Engine dnyo'd. Shell back from paint shop.
Smaller 30.24 carbs suited engine spec the best.
First job is to bolt on some easy shiney bits to see what it looks like, then pipes, rack, subframes, loom.....

Finally done!
Making all the mods look like they should be there has been a real task, the biggest probably being the servo. Had to change/modify about a dozen separate parts to fit it.
Couple of thousand miles done now. Loving it!
Made a couple of small changes. Had red dot cones all round, but have put std ones in rear and softened off Koni dampers. Ride and handling greatly improved.
