Was changing all my rubber fuel hoses as tha car has sat for a long time.

Luckily I found out that the hard fuel line har pretty much corroded through. Snapped off just as in goes under the rear subframe.

Can is use copper/nikkel brake line? See Minispares sell this in 1/4 inch or 5/16

If so, size?

Have a facet eletric pump at the rear that goes to Filterking filter/ regulator to SU on a 1380.

I've just used 8mm on mine - might be overkill but it was straightforward to run and certainly allows a healthy flow!

I use 8MM microbore, B&Q do a roll of it cheap as chips if your UK based.

If not try your local hardware shop.

Norway: known throughout the world for its jagged mountains and stunning fjords.... & if i'm not mistaken a country where Copper brake pipes are not allowed.

Steel or Cunnifer pipes are OK (for Cunnifer fit plenty of brake line clips to reduce flexing).

I think Minispares sell kits made by Automec -& i'm not 100% sure that they are Cunnifer & not just pure Copper.

Personally i would order a set of pipes from Richmond Classics

http://www.theminifo...s/#entry3442162

It might cost you more but they WILL be Cunnifer & manufactured to fit whatever modifications you have made (just let them know exactly what you require) & from what other members have written they will be well made, clearly labelled & ready to be unrolled & fitted to the car without any messing about.

Thanks for the replies

All the car shops here in Norway sell both copper fuel and brake lines so i dont think it banned. Can also get cobber/nikkel mix.

My bad, i was wrong , i thought i read recently that Norway was dropping the statens vegvesen in favour of the German TUV system.

Found out this morning that because the TUV requires pipes made from copper/nickel/iron (or metal) that all Automec LHD kits are made from Cunnifer

....but i still stand by my statement that to save yourself time, effort, & having to invent new swear words that it would be better to get a kit made up by Richmond Classics to fit your car.

Dusky, what do you mean? Nive car, love the Britax colours.

Itsaminithing, Statens veivesen loves TUV though. You could get a turd MOT'd id it had a TUV sticker :-)

Ah, i meant to cut & paste periodisk kjøretøykontroll

Pointless submitting a TUV certified poo for an MOT ....the MPG is terrible on those things!
