My new van has a clip on mirror on the driver's side only.
I need one for the near side but according to all the sites selling them they are only suitable for the off side.
Do any companies make n/s ones ?
I don't really want to start drilling the doors or wings if I can help it.
Cheers

Edit : scratch that, I've just seen some on eBay

They don't work on the passenger side, you can't see out of it it doesn't sit far enough out

Looks like you've got something similar on yours in your picture ?

What about mounting them down lower ?

I definitelly need mirrors both sides,I have to reverse up or down a narrow drive into my garage

That's why I know they don't work! I tried mounting it at all heights, they're like the bullets (tried them first!).. Useless.
Still looking for a nice period solution

I'm putting these on my Mk1 with bullets but they're not what I want for the white one

Not sure if they would attach anywhere? Door too thick and the clamp would be the wrong angle for the seam?

Looks like the arm rotates and the mirror is offset so options with position but I don't know if the mounting part would be wide enough to go on the seam

There's someone selling a pair like yours on ebay....think they're like yours, hard to say from your profile picture...reckons the n/s one has a cranked arm.Is this what you have or is yours a drivers side one turned around ?

some mirrors can be attached to the door glass through the catch fixing if you don't want to drill the door itself

raydyot type bullet mirrors also lend themselves to this type of fitting as they're very light
