knew i heard something like that somewhere, everyone goes on about polishing, surely u want it a little rough to aid mixing.
my mate who won the nationals in his class 4 uno has a head on it that has a swirl pattern on the inlet to aid better mixing.
thats a 1.1 fiat uno running 129bhp at the flywheel!

Yes you do ! Was chatting to the maniflow guys when I was at Coombe and the chap was saying how its important to have the roughness in there to keep the mixture, mixed
If you want an example of a well designed exhaust system that prevents reverse flow, check out the maniflow reverse megaphone setup and the power curves it produces, there are ads for it in the back of the mags.....

see i told ya sum1 else would know more than i did!! i just remembered that its bad!! i dont think polishing is an issue with direct to port injection then if thats the case!! the fuel mis wouldnt be effected really in that short space of time
