Hi all, since my recent return to the forum I find there are several things I can`t do. I can`t access my messages or notifications and when I try to "like" another member`s post nothing happens. Does anyone know why this is and what I can do about it?   Thanks, Hazel

I've impersonated your account was able to do everything normally. I'd consider checking your JavaScript setting in your browser. If you disallow JavaScript, many features on TMF won't work.

I have a real problem. Not only can I not do the above but in trying to introduce my new Mini I find I cannot upload my photos. I have resized them but they just wont take. Also my previous reply to this topic didn`t take either! HEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!  Java is on by the way.

I just used the "start new topic" button, wrote my words and used the "add files" button at the bottom. Having select a pic of 1.7 mb  the little blue arrows just sit there going around forever. Never used to happen when I was last a regular contributor.

Ahh, what you need to do there is use a Picture hosting site. Now after the horrendous issues we had with Photobucket we recommend Imgur.

Again its free to use, so once you have uploaded your pictures to it, click on the picture you want to post and a new box will appear. This shows the picture plus to the right hand side choices of various links, BBcodes etc.

The one you need to use is the BBcode (message boards and forums) Click on that then the copy button. Now you come back to the thread you want to post on and paste.

Hi, I had no luck at all on that website so now I am using my old laptop which allows me to do anything. Thanks for all your well-meant advice everyone but it seems my newer lappie just does not want to play ball. Who says old is bad?    lol
