I have just finished rebuilding twin hs2 carbs and have just bought a 12g202 head

Looking to have it ported and unleaded valve seats done also skimmed to get correct C.R.

I am in Bournemouth, anyone local to me who would be worth sending it to to have this work done

After some research Brett Simms motorsport comes up, apparently he used to do cylinder head work for Richard longman

Has anyone used them

The Isle of Wight isn't too far from you, I think Bill Richards has relocated over there this year. I think @Ben_O should be able to help you out here.

Not local but I just has a 202 head done by Keith Calver. Very quick turnaround too.

What did you have done by Keith Calvert’s and what was the cost

I've recently used Brett Sims for cylinder head and block work.

Very good to deal with as he will be honest about what doesn't need doing rather than doing work that isn't really necessary. Charges are reasonable too.

Quality of work looks good but I've no idea how effective it is as my engine is only just back in the car and hasn't been properly set up yet.

I'll definitely be using him again based on experience so far.

Calver st head on my 998 made 20hp on the rollin road.
