I am Mark from the Netherlands.
I am in search for a classic (fast) Mini.
I have found one and really like to know what you specialists think about it.
It has run around 24.xxx km and is from 1981.
It has 2x 45 weber, jack knight close ratio straight cut, 74mm omega pistons etc.
It has around 120 BHP.
Complete engine and gearbox work is said around 10.000 euro's.
Askingprice 13.900 euro's.
I see a "crack" in the 8th picture on the right side of the handbrake lever, I dont know if thats common and can do Harm?
Here are some pictures to see:

I am definitely not a specialist
.... however i do know that you need that handbrake bracket welded, i ignored a similar crack untill i pulled the handbrake & it didn't work as it wasn't attached to the car anymore.
There are lots of parts from different years on this car. The only thing that worries me is the indicator, not many people change these & that style wasn't fitted to UK Minis untill 1989.
If you are going to see this car take someone with you who knows everything about Minis, a lot of rust & bad workmanship can be hidden under nice new shiny paint.

That looks fantastic.
The crack could be insulation rather than metal fatigue?
I personally dont know what the price is like so wait for others opinions.
It will be noisy with those gears though.
But it will also be very very fast!

Nice to see more fast Dutch Mini's!
At first sight it looks good in my opinion, but it's difficult to say from pictures if it's a good car.
No bumpers often look well.
I Always wondered if sc gears wouldn't drive you mad?!
