Hey ,

Right this is just a bit of curiosity at the moment and probably not to every ones taste but i have only seen 2 minis with suicide doors so far and i do deffinately think that they are some thing to set you apart at a show. I was really liking the idea of lambo doors, did a search and found a kit from auto fashion but at £750 for a kit and endless troubles with fitting i decided to give it a miss, and the fact that i could not open the doors in my garage. This is when i thought about suecide doors but as far as i know you cannot buy a kit So i was just woundering if anyone has done this cinversion to their cars and what it involved and weather it is really worth the troubles. So if some one could give me a vauge idea of how it all goes together i woudld be very gratefull. If i did the suicide door conversion i would also be running the doors on door poppers and solenoids ect, would this help make the conversion easier?

Thanks in advance for the help! Tomm

I'm guessing it would be easier using external hinges

unless you'r garage is has a very high ceiling, lambi doors wouldn't help, plus, expect big insurance hikes!
